Before and after pictures of Joiner home
Rev. Jennifer Riddle has taken a group of adults to New Orleans the last couple of years and here is the result of their hard work. One home they have worked on is complete at last. Please look in the "Photo" section of this website under "New Orleans Mission" to see pictures of the group at work and the results of what they accomplished. The following is a message from Amanda Davis, Rebuild Coordinator for the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana.
Greetings from New Orleans! We wanted to share with you the news that the Joiner family's house is finished and looks beautiful. Ms. Annie, Ms. Donna, and Ms. Donna's daughter and her family are all moved in. We actually finished work on the house in February, but their moving in process has been somewhat slow as a result of some on-going health problems in the family. Ms. Donna is recovering from a recent surgery, Ms. Annie broke her wrist a few days ago, and Ms. Donna's daughter was in a car accident not too long ago. But they are doing as well as can be expected, and are very relieved to be back in their home after all this time.
The next mission trip will be November 4th thru 8th. If you are interested in going, please contact Jennifer at 582-4897.
